Bringing people together, increasing understanding, getting the point across. You’re always in tune with communication, whether you’re watching body language, using social media or analyzing an ad or the latest political message. Whether you see yourself in communication design or helping someone with a communication disorder, we have a place where you can hone your communication skills and put them to work.
- Work side-by-side with your peers to publish the University Star newspaper, broadcast on KTSW 89.9 FM radio or produce “Bobcat Update,” a cable TV newscast.
- Spend your summer at Oxford studying the works of communication master C.S. Lewis in a program led by Texas State communication faculty
- Work directly with clients with speech, language and hearing issues in our on-campus clinic that serves the local community.
- Discover a broad range of digital media activities—scholarship, curriculum, courses, faculty development, community networking and events—available through the Media Innovation Lab (MILab).
