Spring Transfer Orientation, On-Campus

Spring flowers by a campus pond.

At Texas State, we are excited to welcome over 9,000 new Bobcats each year at New Student Orientation (NSO).

Transfer on-campus orientation is required for students who have completed 1-15 transferable hours after high school graduation.

As a transfer student who has completed 16-29 hours after graduating high school, you are able to complete your orientation on-campus or online. While most students choose the on-campus option, we offer the online option for students whose schedules do not allow for an on-campus experience.

We encourage you to register for an NSO session as early as possible since seats fill up quickly.

Spring Transfer Orientation, On-Campus Dates

NSO for Spring is closed. Sign-up for Spring 2019 will begin October 2018.

On-Campus Orientation Fee = $90 (Non-refundable)

If you attend an on-campus orientation you should expect a non-refundable charge of $30 payable at the time of sign-up and $60 on your tuition bill.

You may qualify for an NSO fee waiver if you have an approved admissions fee waiver on file with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. For more information on fee waivers, please visit our fee waiver web page.
