The Round Rock Campus (RRC) is a satellite location of Texas State University offering junior and senior level courses for select Bachelor's degree programs as well as several Master’s and Certificate programs. Undergraduate students may attend the Texas State Campus in San Marcos or a community college to complete freshman and sophomore level courses, and then complete coursework in Round Rock. For most degree programs, classes are scheduled for working students wishing to take courses in the evening on a part-time basis.
For students attending area community colleges, Transfer Planning Guides are available to assist students with degree requirements and course equivalencies. After completing 45 hours or more toward a Texas State degree plan, it is recommend that you apply to Texas State by following this checklist. Once admitted, you will meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss any program admission requirements, review transfer courses and determine your eligibility to enroll in upper-level courses.
Consider attending an upcoming Bobcat Day information session in Round Rock to learn more about reaching your educational goals. Whether you have already started college coursework or if you are considering college for the first time, the experts at the RRC will assist you in preparing your ideal educational plan!
We are eager to assist you during your college planning process. Please contact the RRC Enrollment Assistant at 512-716-4030 if you have further questions on the information provided.
