Texas State requires that you supply us with official ACT and/or SAT scores in order to be considered for admission.
Students are highly encouraged to submit their test score each time they take the SAT and/or ACT. Each submitted score is considered in the admissions decision and advising process. A particular total score or section score can determine placement in courses (i.e. math courses) and course credit received. It is always to a student's advantage to submit all test scores.
The single highest SAT (best Critical Reasoning and Math Sections in a single sitting) or ACT composite score (in a single sitting) is used to determine Texas State Admission eligibility.
You may request that your scores be sent to Texas State by contacting either testing agency directly using these links:
If your ACT and/or SAT score sticker(s) are on your high school paper transcript, the official transcript can be supplied in lieu of having the scores sent to us from ACT or SAT.
