Bobcat Days

The Rising Star of Texas continues to ascend and we invite you to come and be a part of the journey. Bobcat Days are your opportunity to experience Texas State and get a glimpse into life as a Bobcat. Our programs are uniquely designed to assist both incoming freshmen and transfer students. Whether you are just starting your college search or are already accepted to Texas State, we would love for you to come and experience Bobcat Country!

We encourage you to pre-register for Bobcat Day. Just download our form, fill it out, click print and bring it with you to check-in.

Bobcat Day includes a comprehensive look at the academics, facilities and culture of Texas State. While visiting our scenic San Marcos campus, you will have opportunities to:

  • Visit with faculty and staff at the University Exchange
  • Take a walking tour of campus including residence halls
  • Ask current students questions on the Student Panel
  • Dine at our student food court
  • Learn about Admissions, Financial Aid, Residence Life, and cultural opportunities
  • Find out how transfer credits are evaluated

Attendance is free (except meals) and registration is not required. Make your plans to visit Texas State today! We are pleased to offer you several opportunities each year to attend a Bobcat Day.

11:30 am Concurrent Sessions
(Admissions, Financial Aid, Residence Life, Multicultural Student Affairs, Transfer Overview, Campus Tours)
Each session is offered to provide essential information for future Bobcats. Session length is approximately 25 minutes. Locations to be announced
10:15 am - 12:15 pm University Exchange Visit with faculty and staff from academic and various student support departments. LBJ Student Center : Ballroom
11:30 am Lunch Enjoy lunch at our LBJ Student Center Food Court or Commons Dining Hall. Lunch tickets are available for purchase at check-in. Student Center or Commons Dining Hall
12:30 pm Residence Hall Tours Tour residence halls that interest you. Report directly to the hall(s) you wish to tour.
