When should I visit?
When you should visit depends entirely on what you would like to get out of your visit. Planning your trip anytime during the regular semester will provide you with the most personalized visit experience. On your personalized visit you will have the opportunity to meet with a Department Representative, an Admissions Counselor, and the Financial Aid Office. In addition to this you will be able to have lunch with a current Texas State student, and tour a Residence Hall and the Student Recreation Center. If a personalized visit doesn't fit your schedule, each semseter we have two Bobcat Days, which are general preview days. Bobcat Days include campus tours (including campus housing), information sessions about admittance and specific colleges, and chances to speak with representatives from admissions, financial aid, and housing.
Finally, if you are interested in a specific college such as business or engineering, or are a transfer student, we also have several Insight Visit Days each semester that provide information for each of those groups.
