Texas State University has been designated as a leading military school by G.I. Jobs Magazine. A continuation of our outstanding attention to the needs of service members, Veteran Visit Day is designed to afford college-bound veterans an opportunity to explore the many academic majors, support services, living options, and financial assistance programs available at Texas State University.  Veterans in the process of transitioning from to military to student life—as well as those who’ve already transitioned—are invited.  Sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Admission, this half-day event will also include representatives from Veteran Affairs, Financial Aid, and Academic Advising to greet, interact and assist you.

What to Expect: 

Partially self-paced, Veteran Visit Day allows you to obtain timely information which is vital to your seamless application and enrollment process.  

• Take a campus tour.
• Attend our Veteran Information Session.
• An opportunity to speak with representatives from around campus, inluding the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Veteran Affairs, Academic Advising and Financial Aid.
