Cat Camp
Cat Camp, Texas State's pride and traditions camp, is an optional experience for incoming fall students who want to dive in to their lives as a Bobcat. At Cat Camp, students will learn about the history and traditions of Texas State while getting to meet fellow incoming students. Cat Camp does not replace New Student Orientation or Bobcat Preview.

Meningitis Vaccination

Texas state law (Senate Bill 62) requires that all students who will be under age 22 on their first day of class at a public, private or independent institution of higher education in Texas provide proof of immunization for bacterial meningitis. You will be notified by email if you are required to provide this documentation, and you will not be allowed to register for classes until this requirement is met. If you will be attending an on-campus orientation session, you should submit your documentation at least one week prior to your session date. You can upload your documents, review exemptions and find out where you can get vaccinated online.
