How would you describe the atmosphere at Texas State?
Family. Texas State’s atmosphere is unlike any other atmosphere I have had the pleasure to be part of. Whether it is fellow students, faculty or staff, the bobcat family looks out for one another. Whether you are lost, need advice or simply a recommendation, just ask and someone will help you find your answer!
What are three things you love about Texas State?
Diversity – Texas State University is a minority-majority institution, which means the opportunities to learn and grow from different cultures is immense!
Musical Theater Performances – Our Theater Department is one of the best in the country, which means you get the opportunity to see some Broadway-level plays right in your backyard. If you love the arts as much as I do, this is the place for you!
Campus – This institution is truly gorgeous. From the river running through it to the rolling hills, it gives you the opportunity to explore nature and feel right at home.
What advice do you have for future students?
Get Involved. Your college experience is not only about receiving a world-class education but also about growing as an individual. College is a great way to explore your leadership potential, give back to the community and build lifelong friendships through organizations.
