Learning Experiences

Study Abroad
Take advantage of the chance to immerse yourself in a new culture and experience life in another land. Some study abroad programs may be professor-led, group experiences. Others are facilitated though an external program.

Internships
An internship can be your first hands-on experience with a potential career path. You'll find options for the summer, over a semester, or longer — all will give you critical professional experience before you graduate.
Student Organizations
Getting involved with any of the over 400 registered student organizations on campus will enhance your learning and help you make connections with people, ideas and activities you enjoy. Groups cover every major and a variety of interests from academic to honors to professional and community service organizations.
Undergraduate Research

Texas State has resources available to support motivated students to follow their own innovative ideas in research. You can apply for a fellowship to fund your project or a travel grant to help you present your work at an academic conference.
