After you Apply

Application Status Check

Thank you for your application to attend Texas State! You can check the status of your application via our online system.

Transcript Review

If you submitted official transcripts of course work completed at other colleges or universities, you can view the results of the evaluation in our Transfer Course Equivalency System, once they are posted.

Change of Information

If you have submitted an application or been admitted but not yet enrolled in classes, you may make changes or corrections to your personal information by completing an online Application Update Request Form.

Start the Financial Aid Process

Completing a bachelor’s degree is an investment of time and money for you and your family. At Texas State, we make every effort to keep our tuition rates affordable, and we offer a variety of financial aid and scholarship opportunities.

Accepted? Take the Next Steps!

If you have been accepted, congratulations! You may be wondering what you need to do next. We do not require admitted students to formally accept our offer of admission to Texas State. You confirm that you intend to enroll for the term you are admitted to by signing up for New Student Orientation (NSO) and submitting your housing contract and prepayment. We've created a list of next steps for you, so taking care of the details will be easy!

Appealing Your Admissions Decision

If you'd like to appeal our admission decision, you (the student) must submit our online appeal form. You will be required to upload a formal letter of appeal and any appropriate documentation intended to support your appeal (e.g. new test score report or new school transcript). For an appeal to be effective, it must bring to light new academic information, as well as information regarding extenuating circumstances that were not included in the application. The Admission Appeal Committee will notify you of their decision by mail three to six weeks after they have received your appeal letter.
