What advice do you have for future students?

My biggest piece of advice is to live in the moment! College truly goes by in a blink and students should soak up everything they possibly can. It's the absolute best place to figure out who you are, what you enjoy, and where you want to go in life. I think it's so important to take advantage of as many opportunities as possible and jump out of your comfort zone, when and where you can. Go study abroad, attend that sporting event, join a club, make friends, and enjoy the adventure!

What do you like best about San Marcos?

I like the opportunities that are provided by the location. Realistically, you aren't far from most of the biggest cities in Texas, and you're even close to some of the popular vacation spots in the state as well. It's nice to have it all! There is just a lot to offer within a short distance, while still being able to maintain that college town feel, which is really special and fun!

How would you describe the atmosphere at Texas State?

I think it's such a unique atmosphere due to the students! It's very laid back and calm, from my experience. Students are lively, but the campus presence is just peaceful. Everyone at Texas State is really excited and proud to be here!
