We have a full day of sessions and activities available to introduce you to Texas State and what it's like to be a Bobcat. Listed below are the scheduled sessions and events. Feel free to participate in any and all you are interested in. If you need help finding anything or have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

  • Explore the cosmos with our immersive PVC-pipe dome planetarium, a stellar attraction that won the People's Choice Award at the TXST WISE Conference four years in a row.

  • Learn about application procedures, policies, guidelines, and deadlines for all types of aid.

    • 9:30 - 10 a.m.

  • Recommended for high school students who have not yet applied for admission. Admissions counselors will share information and answer questions about TXST, how to apply, what it takes to be admitted, and additional requirements for specific programs. 
    (Visit the admissions table outside the majors fair to ask questions about the status of applications already submitted.)

    • Every 20 minutes from 8 a.m. to noon.

  • Visit with Texas State faculty and staff when you have free time between sessions.

  • Learn about the transfer admission criteria and application process for students who will complete college course work at another institution after graduating from high school and before coming to TXST.

  • Do you have questions about transferring or have you been admitted and now need to know what to do? Bring your questions and a pen to meet with a transfer specialist!

  • Take a self-paced walking tour of campus between sessions! Visit starred locations on the map and our current students will tell you about campus. Guided tours in Spanish will be offered at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tours guiados en español disponibles a las 9 a.m. y 11 a.m.

  • Learn about opportunities and special admission requirements in medical laboratory science, communication disorders, health informatics and information management, healthcare administration, nursing, physical therapy, radiation therapy, and respiratory care.

  • Interested in a career in Physical Therapy? Learn about the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Texas State and what undergraduate students need to know to prepare to enter the DPT program including the admission/application requirements for the physical therapy program at Texas State!

  • This session will focus on the St. David's School of Nursing program for students interested in a career in nursing. Application and admission requirements will be discussed.

  • The athletic training program is transitioning from a 2 year post-baccalaureate degree to a 3+2 master's program. This session details what undergraduate students need to know to prepare to enter this 3+2 master's program.
